elliott interview in a new book & a new girl's elliott smith zip hoodie

thank you for norman for letting us know that that he will have an elliott interview in his upcoming book, 'the anti-matter anthology: a 1990s post-punk & hardcore reader.' the book is coming out on november 6 and norman was kind enough to send us more info! here is norman:

"on november 6, revelation records' publishing arm will be issuing "the anti-matter anthology: a 1990s post-punk & hardcore reader," which is essentially a collection of interviews and feature stories from the fanzine i published in the '90s (anti-matter), as well as a select handful of stories from the magazines i wrote for (alternative press, vibe) wherever relevant. included will be the ap feature i wrote on elliott before xo came out."

exclusive first listen to 'all my rowdy friends...' from autumn's new book, 'elliott smith', new 'new moon' shirt, & myspace

if you have seen the latest issue of spin magazine with rilo kiley on the cover you might of seen the new preview of autumn de wilde's new photo book called 'elliott smith.' included are a few pictures from the book and excerpts of stories from elliott's friends and loved ones. it's a really nice preview if you haven't had a chance to check it out yet. the magazine should be in stores at this time.

we are super lucky to have an exclusive preview of a song that will be included in the new book! the book will also include a 5 song cd from elliott's 4.11.98 show at largo in los angeles. the songs include: angeles, between the bars, clementine, clouds (quasi cover), all my rowdy friends have settled down (hank williams jr. cover). steve from chronicle books (the editor of elliott smith) was kind enough to send over 'all my rowdy friends have settled down' to share with everyone. this will be the only full length preview of a song from the book. amazon.com will eventually have a 45 sec. preview of the 'angeles' and chronicle books will eventually have 3 45 sec. previews of 'angeles, all my rowdy friends', and 'between the bars.' anyway here is a streaming preview of the song! :)

kill rock stars and the official elliott smith store recently added a new shirt for sale based off the 'new moon' design! the design by mike king is featured on a black shirt or girl tee. all proceeds from the sales of these shirts are being donated to the elliott smith memorial fund - outside/in so any help would be awesome. sizes are small to x-large regular tees while the girl tees are small to large. if you are interested in ordering one, you can either go to the kill rock stars elliott smith store or the official elliott smith store on cinderblock!
