thumbsucker sdtk out today, free screenings, jimmy eat world & io perry!

hi everyone! here is a friendly reminder that the soundtrack for the upcoming film, thumbsucker, will be released today (9.13.05) in north america! the soundtrack features 3 songs by elliott. 2 of them are covers of cat steven's trouble and big star's thirteen, while the other song is one of elliott's, let's get lost. the artwork for the soundtrack brings back memories of elliott's happiness single since the artwork was created by mike mills for both covers :) please click on the image for a larger version. don't forget to check out places like itunes as well.

thanks to nick and michael for sending us info that jimmy eat world covers heatmiser's half right on their new ep, stay on my side tonight. the digital ep version has been seen for a limited time on jimmy eat world's myspace page and on artist direct, but at this time i am not sure where you might be able to hear it before the cd version comes out in stores on october 4th. the original song is from heatmiser's final record, mic city sons. it is the last untitled song on the record. for more info about jimmy eat world and the upcoming ep/tribute to heatmiser, please got here: jimmyeatworld.com
